We do not collect or retain personal data beyond what’s strictly required to operate and secure our services.
Information We Do Not Collect

No personal profiles. We do not ask for or store your name, phone number, address, or other identifying details.

No IP logging. We do not retain or process your IP address in connection with your account.

No message archives. All messages in transit are encrypted and automatically deleted after a short period.
Information We Do Collect and Why
We collect only the minimal data necessary to operate our services securely and efficiently.

We temporarily store transient message data solely for the purpose of relaying and delivering end-to-end encrypted messages. This data is held only until the message can be delivered, and is automatically deleted after a maximum of 20 days.

We also collect website access logs to ensure the availability, performance, and security of our website. These logs include standard technical data such as browser type and time of access, and are automatically purged after 7 days.
All data processing is strictly limited to the technical needs of operating our service. We do not use any of this data to build user profiles, track individuals, or for any marketing purposes.
How Our Messaging Service Works

Encrypted “router.” We act as a stateless router for messages between your devices and compatible servers.

Automatic cleanup. Messages you send are held only long enough to guarantee delivery—no more than 20 days—and are always encrypted end to end.

No unencrypted mail. We exclusively handle encrypted content; unencrypted messages are not allowed.
Account Creation & Credentials

Account setup is handled entirely within the Privitty app via a secure token or in‑app registration.

No extra identifiers. You’ll only need a Privitty‑issued email address; we don’t ask for any other personal info.

Access control. Your mailbox is protected by a unique password and encrypted protocols (IMAP/SMTP over TLS).
Third‑Party Services & Hosting

Our website and messaging service are hosted by carefully selected providers under data‑processing agreements that bind them to our privacy standards. They process data only on our instructions and do not retain any data longer than necessary.
Security & Abuse Prevention

We maintain minimal logs to detect and prevent abuse, troubleshoot delivery, and keep systems healthy (e.g. rate‑limiting, storage limits). All such logs are ephemeral and used solely for operational purposes.
Your Rights & Controls

Data deletion. You can delete any stored messages at any time via the Privitty app.

No profiling. Because we don’t store personal data, there’s no profile to view, correct, or erase.
